Avocado Oil

Avocado oil is obtained by cold pressing the pulp of the Avocado Pear. It is full of vitamins such as vitamin A, B1, B2, D, and E.

Beer and Beer Powder

Beer is a great addition to soap. It makes a great lather booster giving the bar a rich, creamy lather. Hops are known to contain skin-softening amino acids, which can help to soothe irritated skin, and the brewers yeast used in making beer has antibacterial properties, which are said to help in the fight against acne. The Vitamin B that is present in beer will help to moisturize your skin.

Canola Oil

Canola is moisturizing and creates a creamy lather. It contains antioxidants like Vitamin E and fatty acids like omega 3 and 6.

Carrot Puree

Carrots in particular are excellent for skin care mainly because they contain high concentrations of a pigment known as beta-carotene, which converts into vitamin A and is crucial for healthy, glowing and clear skin. Carrots in soap is highly effective for removing acne, acne scars, dark spots, wrinkles, freckles, patches, and other common skin problems. Carrot soap also has powerful anti-aging properties. Regular use of carrot soap can help wipe off signs of aging on your face (wrinkles, lines, and sun burns), leaving you with a much younger appearance.

Castor Oil

Castor oil easily penetrate through the skin and helps create long lasting lather.

Cocoa Butter

Pure Cocoa Butter is thought to reduce skin dryness and work wonders for the skin. It lays down a protective layer which holds the moisture to the skin, so it is an excellent skin moisturizer/softener. In our soap, it provides mild stabilizing lotion-like lather and creates hard, long lasting bar.

Coconut Milk/Cream/Powder

Both are a great skin food. They contain vitamin C, E and B6, iron, magnesium and unsaturated fatty acids. It can help moisturize and soften your skin. In soap it makes for a creamy and gentle lather.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is derived from coconut meat. Coconut oil helps to produce a bar of soap that has excellent cleaning properties. Most important to me as a soap maker is the desirable fluffy bubbly factor that coconut oil adds to finished soap.

French Green Clay

French Green clay, also known as sea clay, is used in bath products helps draw out harmful toxins from the skin. It is a suggested clay to ease the symptoms of eczema.

Goat Milk

Goat’s milk is moisturizing and nourishing to the skin. It forms a barrier on the skin to help inhibit the loss of moisture we experience daily.

Hibiscus Flower Powder

We use hibiscus flower powder to achieve red colors in our soap. Hibiscus flower in soap helps cleanse and reduce large pores, but it also regulates the secreted sebum off of your skin, making it ideal for oily skin. On top of that, its anti-inflammatory effect that soothes inflamed skin makes it best for sensitive skin.

Honey

Honey is soothing and has antibacterial/antioxidant properties that help repair sun damaged skin. We use it because it helps add lather to our soap.

Indigo Powder

Indigo powder is used as colorant in our soap.

Kaolin Clay (White)

Kaolin clay is used in soap making mainly because of its silkiness and creaminess. It is also safe and mild making it great for sensitive skin.

Mango Butter

Mango butter is derived from the seed of the Mango tree, so it is sometimes called mango seed butter. Unlike shea butter, mango butter moisturizes without greasiness. Mango butter helps with the hardness of our soap, and it adds luxurious conditioning and moisturizing values.

Oatmeal and Oat Milk

Oatmeal and oat milk help relieve itching and irritation and gently exfoliates your skin naturally. It helps sooth and moisturize your skin because it has anti-inflammatory properties.

Olive Oil

It’s known for its special ability to attract external moisture while sealing in the skin’s own moisture. We use lots of olive oil in our soap. The low cleansing properties of olive oil makes it very mild and nourishing. Soap for sensitive skin, elder skin or baby skin always include high amounts of olive.

Palm Oil and Palm Kernel Oil

We only use Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). Both of these oils allow us to produce a harder, longer lasting bar of soap with great lather!

Purple Brazilian Clay

Purple Brazilian Clay has naturally occurring copper, selenium, zinc, and magnesium. Brazilian clays add a wonderful silky lather to soaps.

Rose Kaolin Clay

Rose clay is one of the most gentle clays, which makes it suitable for sensitive, dry and mature skin. It has the ability to gently draw impurities and excess oils from the skin. It can also help damaged skin and hyper pigmentation.

Shea Butter

Shea butter has a high percentage of oils which are not affected by the soap making process. This means most of this butter goes directly towards pampering your skin!

Spirulina Powder

Used in our soap as a natural green colorant, spirulina is high in proteins and amino acids and also has anti-inflammatory properties. Its also high in chlorophyll which helps remove toxins.

Turmeric

One of the best ways to treat acne is to use turmeric soap. The anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiseptic properties of turmeric reduces redness and inflammation, fights off the acne causing bacteria and prevents further infection. It also helps to exfoliate the skin and reduce the excess secretion of oil by the sebaceous glands. Effective for all types of skin, the use of turmeric soap imparts a natural glow to the skin.

Tussah Silk

Tussah Silk gives our soap a nice shine, a silkier feel and a better lather. Tussah Silk adds benefits of silk amino acids!

Wine

Wine adds an extra antioxidants and rich nutrients to our soap. Besides the skin loving benefits, wine creates a highly luxurious lather, rich in creamy bubbles to our finished soap bars.
