JoMama’s Naturals is a small family owned business. My soap kitchen is located deep in the heart of Cajun country, outside of a little town called Erath, Louisiana.
JoMama’s Naturals stems from a deep connection to Mother Earth and the joy of creating. Every creation is handmade and sent from our home to yours.
My soap making journey began my girls were little bitty. My oldest was “blessed” with eczema. The teacher/mommy in me had to find a solution. Research pointed me in the direction of handmade soap and JoMama’s Naturals was born.
Most people hear the word “lye” and assume any soap made with “drain opener” would be harsh on our skin. Quite the opposite. When made properly, no lye remains in the final product. You are left with glycerin other skin loving nutrients of your choosing. I discovered that commercially made soap contains exactly what our skin DOES NOT like. Alcohol and chemical preservatives that require a Google search to pronounce and identify. Synthetic and often “unfriendly” chemicals are a given when companies mass produce cosmetics or beauty products.
No mass production happens in our little kitchen. Each ingredient is chosen with a specific goal in mind. Everything is made and packaged by our hands, in our home, in small batches, and delivered to yours.
